Lele Kitchen, a new upscale casual restaurant in Los Gatos, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team. As the sister restaurant to the popular bakery and coffee shop Lele Cake, Lele Kitchen blends the freshness of California farm-to-table cuisine with the bold flavors of Eastern Europe. Our intimate 47-seat restaurant will be open for dinner service from 5 to 9 pm, Thursday through Monday, starting in early October.

As our Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee food preparation and cooking. You will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and consistency.

We’re Looking For:
- A strong culinary background in casual yet elevated dining or in fine dining
- A passion for high-quality, creative cuisine with a focus on detail
- Leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Head Chef
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the most complex part of the menu - 3 amuses, 3 appetizers, and 4 mains, utilizing specialized equipment such as a binchotan grill, deep fryer, siphon, and sous vide
- Ensure consistency and top-notch quality in every dish
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety
- Manage inventory and assist in sourcing seasonal ingredients
