JOB DESCRIPTION

Sushi Tama is currently looking for a Full time supervisor who can also work as a server/ hostess if needed.

Tama is part of Showa Hospitality group. We are an upscale Japanese Sushi restaurant located in Beverly Hills.
Our restaurant is focused on bringing an excellent and exciting dining experience to Los Angeles. We are looking for energetic, service driven server with a passion for food and beverage, who want to create experiences that bring guests back.

Responsible for the operation of the restaurant by giving the best customer service to all our
guests. Ensure the entire team operates in a courteous and respectful manner among each
other and among our customers. Ensures proper staffing levels and adjusts to lower and higher
sales accordingly. Plans, organizes, direct and coordinates team members and resources of the
restaurant In the best interests of the company to provide efficient, well prepared and profitable
service of food, beverages, and ensures the comfort of all of our guests while maintaining a
positive reputation for the restaurant. Responsible for the business performance of the
restaurant as well as maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, consistency, health,
and safety.

A Minimum 3 years of supervisor/manager experience in upscale casual or fine dining experience. Experience as a server is highly required as well.


QUALIFICATIONS

-Preferred experience with Japanese cuisine.
-POS Restaurant system
-Must be passionate about executing service to the highest standards
-Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service
-Ability to handle volume while maintaining a clean and positive environment is essential
-Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures, food safety and sanitation practices
- Basic knowledge of laws and regulations
