Xiquet by Danny Lledó, Washington D.C.'s Michelin-starred destination for fine Valencian cuisine, is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. About the Position:
As Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in executing our menu with precision and creativity. Our ideal candidate has strong technical skills, thrives in a structured kitchen environment, and demonstrates a meticulous approach to cooking and organization. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to prepare dishes that consistently meet Michelin-level standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute dishes to the highest standard, paying close attention to detail in preparation and plating
- Take ownership of a specific section in the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish
- Collaborate with the kitchen team, maintaining clear communication and workflow throughout service
- Contribute to daily mise en place preparation and maintain a clean, organized station
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Support junior team members, providing guidance and maintaining a team-oriented atmosphere
- Assist in developing new dishes and techniques, supporting our mission of culinary innovation

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fine dining kitchen, ideally in a Chef de Partie or similar role
- Solid understanding of European and American cuisine, with an desire to learn or an emphasis in Spanish techniques
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Current ServSafe certification, DC DOH certificate, or ability to obtain one within 30 days
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00)
