Forbidden Root Restaurant and Brewery is looking for a Bartender/Floor Supervisor. Bartending Capabilities is a must. Forbidden Root is Chicago's first botanical brewery with beer in over 150 retail stores and more than 160 restaurants and bars throughout the Chicagoland area. The brewery, restaurant and retail space occupies a historic landmark theater on Chicago Avenue in Chicago's West Town neighborhood.
We are looking for someone interested in working 2-3 Bartending shifts, and 2-3 Floor Manager shifts a week,
Bartending Requirements:
- Bassett and Serv Safe certified
- Good beer knowledge
- Must have 2 plus years experience
- Willingness to work together as a team
- Detail oriented
- Enjoy working in a fast paced and fun environment
- Weekend Availabilty is a must
Floor Manager Duties.
- Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on and ongoing basis
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
- Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness• Solicit guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
- Monitor and maintain the POS system.
- Assist in any areas of the restaurant required during shift.
