About the Role:
In this role, you will work in an energized and fast-paced environment focused on delivering an excellent customer experience to our HQ employees and visitors in our cafe and for onsite events. Your goal is to produce and prepare high quality food, provide customers with fast, friendly service, and maintain a clean environment for our employees and visitors.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver positive customer service experience by creating a welcoming environment in the café
Provide fast and efficient service and consistency in quality food and experience
Ensure the café, storage and prep stations are clean, organized, fully stocked, and ready for service
Take orders, process customer transactions, answer questions, respond in a courteous and prompt manner to requests
Ensure compliance to recipes and prepare food prior to café breakfast, lunch and catered events
Comply with health and safety standards and regulations
Communicate all feedback
Who You Are:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to develop and maintain good relationships
Ability to be flexible, multi-task and provide support where needed
Must be able to move throughout café and kitchen, move 30 lbs., use equipment specific to your role
Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
Learn and apply working knowledge of related work area processes and procedures
Certified in Food Service Safety (i.e.: ServSafe)
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $22.00)
