Location: Tartine Manufactory Flagship

Job Overview:
We seek a talented and creative Chef with pizza experience/background to join our flagship location in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will be a culinary leader passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences. As Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, and assist with menu planning, and people management to ensure high-quality food production and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff in food and pastry preparation
  • Develop innovative and consistent menu items
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with management on special events, banquets, and catering services
  • Train and mentor kitchen employees on culinary techniques and best practices
  • Oversee shift management for smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in the food industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food presentation
  • Proficiency in inventory control, cost management, and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
  • Experience in banquet or catering services is a plus
  • Bartending skills for creating beverage pairings are advantageous
  • Proficiency in Restaurant 365, Paychex, and COGS

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $95,000.00)
