Ireland's Four Courts is a thriving neighborhood pub in the heart of the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia. Named one of the 100 best soccer bars in the United States by Men in Blazer's in 2025, and 'THE embassy of soccer in the DMV' by the Washington Post, Four Courts has been hosting sports fans and providing local hospitality for twenty-nine years. Guinness is the drink that brings them in--and Four Courts pours about as much of it as any bar on the Eastern seaboard--but the surprisingly detailed cocktail collection, the broad and exciting whiskey offerings, and the most famous wings in Arlington county keep them coming back for more. 

This is a part-time role with the possibility for advancement in the restaurant; experience in the service industry is highly valued but not required. We are a dedicated and professional staff that enjoys the company of our coworkers and will keep the position open until we find the right person who is excited about working hard and learning from these very busy shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending pre-shift meetings and managing guest awareness of the nights’ events
• Greeting and seating guest, overseeing dining room operations alongside the service manager
• Assisting in table maintenance and bussing to ‘turn’ tables quickly, cleanly and efficiently
• Answering the phone and forward calls appropriately, take to-go orders, inform managers of event requests
• Informing guests of any restaurant policies or logistics (parking, business hours, etc.) when needed
• Maintaining a constant presence on the floor throughout service (Shifts are generally 4:45pm-10:30pm)

Compensation starts at $22.00/hourly, paid bi-weekly and 100% of to-go tips paid nightly. Also, shift meals are covered at 100% each night working and dining discounts apply when in on off-days.
