Ireland’s Four Courts, a busy neighborhood pub with nightly entertainment, is searching for a host to join our team for service on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a part-time role with the possibility for advancement in the restaurant; experience in the service industry is highly valued but not required. We are a dedicated and professional staff that enjoys the company of our coworkers and will keep the position open until we find the right person who is excited about working hard and learning from these very busy shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending pre-shift meetings and managing guest awareness of the nights’ events
• Greeting and seating guest, overseeing dining room operations alongside the service manager
• Assisting in table maintenance and bussing to ‘turn’ tables quickly, cleanly and efficiently
• Answering the phone and forward calls appropriately, take to-go orders, inform managers of event requests
• Informing guests of any restaurant policies or logistics (parking, business hours, etc.) when needed
• Maintaining a constant presence on the floor throughout service (Shifts are generally 4:45pm-10:30pm)

Compensation is $20.00/hourly, paid bi-weekly and 100% of to-go tips paid nightly. Also, shift meals are covered at 100% each night working and dining discounts apply when in on off-days.
