Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook ingredients and dishes with precision.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistency and high quality of all dishes.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, and adhere to hygiene standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with kitchen staff and communicate clearly.
- Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes and plating instructions accurately.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and minimize food waste.
- Adaptability: Handle special requests and resolve issues during service.
- Safety Protocols: Follow food safety and equipment safety guidelines.
- Professionalism: Represent the restaurant with high standards and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- 1-2 years minimum in similar role.
- Spanish comprehension/fluency is preferred.
- Background in Peruvian cuisine preferred.
- Experience with Whole Fish Butchery
- Experience cooking with charcoal & wood ovens
