Job Details
Working closely with the team, and taking instruction from the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, your main responsibility is to ensure exceptional standards and a high quality for each dish is delivered. You will experience a rotation of the kitchen, spending time in each section to help with your development and knowledge of our kitchen.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run daily operations of the kitchen
- Have a good command of the menu and the ingredients required
- Support the senior members of the kitchen team to create exquisite dishes that maintain Firmdale standards and continue to exceed our guest expectations
- Guide and oversee the kitchen team in their delivery of service and development
- Deliver orders in an efficient time
- Maintain strict health and safety, and food hygiene standards
- Mise en place and stock control of your section
Skills
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a 5* hotel or luxury restaurant
- Knowledge of a variety of local and international food ingredients and correct methods of preparation
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exception standards
- Demonstrate a flair for producing exquisite dishes, and coming up with new and exciting concepts to contribute to menu planning and seasonal changes
- A passion for food
- Resilience and drive to get things right first time
Hours Required: 40 hours per week on a flexible rota, where weekends will be required for you to work.
To carry out any other tasks required from time to time by management.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $26.00)
