POSITION TITLE: Lunch Bartender

Bartenders, as part of a team or when working alone and under the direction of the food and beverage managers, are required to work in a collaborative environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails
- Have an advanced understanding of wine, beer, and cocktails
- Beverage knowledge is kept current as menus evolve
- Have a general knowledge and understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards
- Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service required of all FB-FOH service positions
- Ability to multitask between the cycles of service of those at the bar, and producing the beverages needed in other areas of the Club
- Strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both Club Members and teammates
- Derives pleasure from providing hospitality
EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience in the hospitality industry
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILL & ABILITY:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions and interact with membership, guests and colleagues
- Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful, warm presence.
- Open availability and a career mentality
- 2-3 years New York City restaurant experience preferred
