BACK OF HOUSE ROLES ONLY.
We are only recruiting for Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Dishwashers, and Jr Sous Chef.

OPEN CALL DATE: 08/26
10:00am – 2:00pm
Peak with Priceless - Floor 101 in 30 Hudson Yards.

Please take the elevator to the 5th. Floor, Quin Bar, where they will then be directed to Peak. 


We are recruiting for the following positions in Culinary.

Line Cook: $18-$23.00/ hour

Prep Cook: $18-$20.00/ hour

Jr Sous Chef: $24-$27.00/ hour

 As a general requirement, the candidate must be able to:

  • Assist kitchen staff with the preparation of meals utilizing standardized recipes.
  • Assists in keeping all food storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. clean and organized.
  • Assist with the preparation of stocks, storing and labeling all food products in the patient pantry and serverye., temperature recording, rotation of food supplies and cleaning schedules while maintaining allergy awareness.
  • Assist with Prep Cooking and Special Events
  • Practice safe food handling techniques while maintaining proper sanitation procedures in accordance with SERV Safe.
  • Understands kitchen equipment and the operation of equipment.
  • Maintains a clean work environment, including floors and passages.
  • Cleans kitchen and equipment as assigned by the Culinary Management team.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with the standards established by the NYC Department of Health
  • Attends staff meetings and in-services as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Professional work ethic.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a prep or line cook in a high-volume, detailed cooking, fast-paced NYC kitchen (or comparable)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors.
  • Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must have excellent knife skills, proficiency and in detailed cooking.
  • Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and proactively solve issues.
  • Knowledge of Health Department food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, carry up to 30 pounds/ stand for extended periods of time.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $27.00)
