Job Details

Boka Restaurant Group and Top Chef/Iron Chef winner, Stephanie Izard, are currently seeking a full time Prep Cook to join the team of Cabra, located on the top floor of The Hoxton Chicago!

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Ability to clean, cut, portion and prepare fish, poultry and beef to restaurant's specifications and standards
  • Sausage production
  • Perform other prep tasks as required or assigned
  • Proper storage and rotation of all product
  • Use proper tecnique to minimize waste
  • Maintain and uphold sanitation standards and general cleanliness

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to lift 50-60lbs if necessary. 
  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment. 
  • Stand and walk for the entirety of an eight-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant. 

This is not a entry-level position. Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
Minimum 2 years experience in a prep cook role required.
Must have weekend availability.
