Lonesome Rose - Andersoville Location
Position Objective:
The General Manager of Lonesome Rose is ultimately the caretaker of guests, property, service and staff. The General Manager supports staff towards achieving the highest level of sales and service through the cultivation of job skills, knowledge and morale. They are responsible for the safety and security of all employees, customers and company assets - building, cash, equipment, supplies.
The General Manager will work with LSD ownership and the director team to oversee budgets, hospitality, labor, property, sales and service -related initiatives. The mission of this position is to provide and uphold the unique experiences created by Land and Sea Dept.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

- Lights low, music loud - make it a party!
- Report maintenance to appropriate vendor & follow up
- Spaces clean, organized, and “stage ready”
- Uphold municipal food handling, food safety and sanitation requirements
Financials
Perform to the budget
- Labor management and scheduling
- Management of operating expenses
- Monthly and quarterly profit & loss reviews
Hospitality
Total guest engagement (experience, reviews, table touches, et al.)
- Serve as the host of the party
- Touch every table and expect the same from supporting managers
Staffing
Staff support (administrative, morale, one-on-ones, training)
- Communication, between LSD leadership, BOH and FOH
- Ensure proper onboarding in Toast Payroll
- Hire, recruit and train employees that possess a positive attitude
- Set clear performance expectations, hold employees accountable, use progressive disciplinary procedures
- Upload disciplinary, termination, health & safety certification forms into Toast Payroll
- Use steps of service to ensure the same guest experience for everyone who enters our spaces
