Game Changer Brewhouse is seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team, specializing in prep and line station operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, attention to detail, strong understanding of food safety and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to our culinary standards. Our establishment offers an elevated Sport Bar atmosphere with elevated cuisine as well.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, focusing on timley execution of house specialties.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the your station, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards of excellence.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure.
- Take direction from the Chef, executing tasks promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an fast-pace upscale restaurant environment preferred.
- Proven experience working kitchens, with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality dishes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
