The Host/Hostess will be responsible for assisting the Manager to coordinate all reservations (using the REsy System), dining room, guest assistance, guest needs and the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant. 
The Host will communicate to various departments in the restaurant all special notes (birthdays, Allergies, Special requests…)

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and transfer inquires to correct department heads 
• Making and canceling reservations via Resy
• Daily confirmation calls to confirm all bookings 
• Checking restaurant's emails and responding to them accordingly 
• Communicating messages to senior staff - informing them of special requests, needs and complaints
• Organize greeting, seating and exiting of all guests using a professional demeanor. 
• Organize all reservations and guests using the most effective guest and restaurant conscious procedures.
• Professionally and effectively communicate with guests to ensure guest satisfaction. 
• Maintain guest relationships to promote repeat business. 
• Provide the highest quality service to guests at all times.
•  Awareness of all guests’ needs, reservation needs and restaurant needs at all times. 
• Maintain integrity of service. 
• Maintain a clean work area

• Displays a pleasant and cheerful disposition. 
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with both guests and staff. 
• Ability to use Resy Reservation platform
• Ability to communicate with the guests over the phone
• Available to work late nights, holidays if necessary. 
• Must be able to stand and or walk for long periods of time without sitting.
