We are currently seeking a fantastic, personable, stand-out Food & Beverage Operations Manager with a “never quit” attitude and who can help create solutions to Club challenges.The Food and Beverage Operation Manager is responsible for the food and beverage service for the club. Working alongside the F&B Management team this individual will help train, supervise team members, and apply outstanding service principles to assure that the wants and needs of club members and guests are consistently exceeded. • Manage all aspects and areas of the Food and Beverage department including a la carte, fine and casual dining, banquet functions, multiple bar locations and our “Oasis” poolside café facility.
• Passionate about customer service and extend professional courtesies to our members.
• Strive to surpass expectations and create an overall positive experience for our members and their guests and ensure the staff are doing the same.
• Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the day-to-day F&B policies and procedures such as side work, cover counts, opening and closing duties, and end of shift recaps.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to ensure understanding of upcoming events, dinner features and additional important information.
• Accountable for ensuring a high-level of Banquet service by following BEO, assigning job tasks during breakdown and set-up, holding pre-shifts before each event to ensure the staff understands the timeline and important details, following up with staff before they are dismissed nightly.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all F&B areas.
• Ensure that all members feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
• Transmit specialty orders from servers to kitchen by identifying member’s special dietary needs.
• Implement an effective orientation and training program by properly following, creating, and updating training manuals for all F&B departments.
• Ensure staff is well trained in areas such as menu, wine and spirit knowledge, following reset directions, our steps of service are being followed and the staff is being held accountable to our standards.
• Learn how to empower employees on how to address and resolve member/guest issues properly and professionally.
• Assures that all standard operating procedures are in place and consistently utilized by F&B staff.
• Offers creative and innovative ideas to be implemented to stay current with new trends.
• Helps develop wine lists, beverage menus and bottle/glass wine sales promotion programs and staff training.
• Addresses member and guest complaints
• Develop interesting ways of promoting club functions.
• Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure accountability when handling, cleaning, and transporting club equipment.
• Assist in monthly inventory
• Responsible for knowing all aspects of the Point-of-Sale system (Northstar) to effectively run sales and revenue reports, change and create new menus and pricing and assist servers when necessary. Requirements:
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• Good understanding of the highest level of customer service
• Strong leadership skills
• Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Creative and resourceful approach to problem solving
• Previous experience in the hospitality or event business
• Strong wine knowledge a plus
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs Benefits Package:
