Sailor is a lauded neighborhood bistro in Fort Greene, Brooklyn helmed by Chef April Bloomfield and Gabriel Stulman’s Happy Cooking Hospitality.

We are looking for a talented Bartender - Captain who is as knowledgable about table service as wine & spirits and would be excited to offer mindful hospitality regardless of where they're stations. The schedule is two shifts per week behind the bar in addition two services per week on the floor.

The ideal candidate has organizational and communications prowess to match their creative chops. Bartenders and Servers work closely with their colleagues and the leadership team to maintain an organized, efficient, clean, and delicious bar. Everyone is welcome to make creative contributions. 

We enjoy working with humans who are warm, welcoming and empathetic, detail-oriented, open to feedback, and enthusiastic about being part of a team that prioritizes quality service and constant communication.

This is a full time position; weekend availability is a must.
