Responsibilities:
• Supervise and Coordinate: Provide leadership and direction to the service team, ensuring seamless execution of service operations
• Service Coordination: Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure timely and impeccable service delivery
• Foster Member Relationships: Serve guests in a warm and welcoming manner, addressing them by name when possible. Learn and notate member preferences, allowing us to personalize and elevate their experiences. Provide information about the club’s offerings and events.
• Menu Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the food & beverage menus, including origins, preparation methods, special ingredients, and allergens, providing expert recommendations
• Gueridon & Tableside Service: Execute refined tableside & gueridon preparations, such finishing pastas, deboning fish, carving lamb racks and plating some desserts
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve member/guest concerns with professionalism and grace
• Mise en Place: Oversee the meticulous setup and preparation and breakdown of the dining rooms, ensuring an immaculate environment for each service.
• Professional Presentation: Lead by example in maintaining high standards of grooming and appearance, reflecting the establishment's refined image. Uphold Il Mulino’s standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality at all times.
Qualifications:

• The right charisma to enhance the dining room atmosphere, engaging with guests in a manner that adds to the overall ambiance. A Captain should be able to create a warm, inviting environment while maintaining an air of sophistication.
• A deep passion for food, beverage, and delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
• Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, traverse stairs, and lift/carry heavy items on occasion

5 years experience as a high end Restaurant Server.
