Job DutiesApproximately 40 hours per week, compensation depends on experience. All shifts begin after 3 PM.
This line cook position will require minimal prep and be more service focused with the cooks maintaining their own stations with integrity and cleanliness. The chefs will do the majority of the prep work and line cooks will maintain their daily and end of service prep lists- communicating openly about any prep concerns for the next day.
All line cooks will be cross-trained on both stations. We will serve late night food until 1 AM and the line cook will work independently from 11 PM-close with an abbreviated late night menu. The closing shift will be 2 to 3 times per week with in-times after 4 PM on those days.
Required Education and Experience
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- This person will be the full-time cook so weekend availability is a must, but days off and schedule can be flexible with option for 4 or 5 days weekly.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- 2+ years experience as a line cook preferred.
Pearl’s is a new cocktail bar that will also serve food later than most restaurants in the area. The menu will be elevated lite bites and bar snacks with some European influences.
All of Pearl’s staff will respect the establishment, each other, and adhere to all employee conduct and service requirements.
