Lazy Bear is looking for a full-time Server Assistant with experience working in a fine dining establishment. This role will participate by assisting Service Captains in food running, table maintenance, sidework and more. The person that fits this role must be able to maintain a graceful and elegant presence on the floor while operating in a fast paced environment. More importantly, this person should have a passion for hospitality, a desire for new experiences, and a drive to improve themselves and their environment every day. We look for team oriented members with radiant personalities and those that enjoy higher level dining in their spare time. This role also provides an opportunity to move up into the Service Captain role for those with limited experience looking to grow.

• 2+ years experience in the service industry, 1+ year of fine dining experience is a plus
• Passion for food, wine, hospitality and the restaurant industry
• Experience working with coffee/barista is a plus
• Must be able to fluently speak/read/write English

• Provide direct support to our Captain and Service Team, all while maintaining a very high level of service to guests even in a communal dining experience
• This includes but is not limited to: running and describing food to guests, table maintenance, overall dining room maintenance, assisting in opening and closing sidework.
• Provide a high level of service to guests, focusing on the mechanics and organization of the station
• Contribute to and elevate service by working closely with the captains and wine teams
• Learn about food and wine at a world-class level with a passionate team of people who really care about what they do.
• Cultivating an unprecedented guest experience by not only providing the highest technical level of service to guests, but doing so with joy and effusiveness.
• Contribute to and elevate service with a strong attention to detail, and dedication to standards.
• Work closely with culinary team to have a full understanding of our menu and overall mission
• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a refined, clear, and efficient manner 
• Maintain an elegant and professional manner on the floor at all times
• Anticipate the needs of guests and provide them with the the best experience possible within the scope of our restaurant
• Understand all aspects of service and remain efficient at all times.
