Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Server with 3+ years of experience to provide exceptional table service and ensure that our patrons have a memorable dining experience. You must have the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Petit Pomeroy Server’s responsibilities include taking and delivering food and beverage orders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing a high level of service. Potential candidates must be competent with fine dining service, extensive knowledge of food and beverages, and excellent communication skills. Experience in a fine dining establishment and confidently displaying the feel-good hospitality that Ballyhoo is known for are both important for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests promptly and professionally.
- Distribute menus and present daily specials or menu changes.
- Take and submit food and beverage orders through a point of sale system.
- Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with service staff to clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Prepare checks, process payments, and ensure timely return of change or charge slips.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area and other restaurant tasks as needed.
- Participate in Pre-Shift meetings and stay informed about menu items.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of previous restaurant experience required; fine-dining experience preferred.
- Maintain a BASSET and ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation and handling.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems such as Toast
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) plus tips
