MGCE is a high-end boutique catering firm that caters to the stars. We are located in New York City and have been in business since 2005. We have a commitment to providing our clients with the latest and greatest in food, beverage and entertaining trends while producing a unique and memorable experience.

We are looking for strong Event Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to join our team. Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of solid experience in off-site catering or restaurant catering

- Execute menus per chef’s direction for events ranging from cocktail receptions to seated dinners for 10-1000+ guests; has a high skill set and flawless presentation

- Works with a sense of urgency, is a natural leader and takes direction well

- Is able to stand on their feet for prolonged periods of time; able to lift 40lb objects

- Has a can do attitude, is a great communicator; acts as a brand ambassador for our company

- Arrives on time and in uniform

- Has a general knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements

- Owns a knife kit

- Must possess valid NYC Food Handler Certificate
