Michelin-starred chef Jermemiah Langhorne and the team from The Dabney have recently opened a French inspired all day dining concept. We are looking for candidates who are motivated and excited to become a part of our growing team.
We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about the guest experience and will contibute to a great team culture.
Host Position Details
- Manage incoming calls and answer in a timely manner. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- Create a warm, welcoming, and exciting environment for guests to enjoy
- Able to anticipate needs of any guest and if need be, communicate to manager or proper workgroup
- Excellent ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Experienced with reservation systems including Resy
- Guide and engage with guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
- Be able to think ahead and plan strategically to accommodate walk-in guests without a reservation
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings according to dining room standard
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support all teams to reach common goals of guest satisfaction
- Stand, walk, and climb stairs in a multi-level operation for an extended period.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $23.00)
