Job Description:

As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, from the dining room to the kitchen. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee all restaurant operations, including hiring, training, and developing a talented team. Foster a positive work environment and ensure employee satisfaction.
• Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service by embodying our Philoxenia spirit, building relationships with guests, resolving issues promptly, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the restaurant's budget, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations by managing inventory, enforcing food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Team Development: Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and handle disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including dining room and kitchen responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for Greek cuisine and culture is a plus.
