Now seeking a charismatic and hospitality-focused Assistant General Manager to join the opening team of STARR Restaurants' newest affiliated NYC restaurant. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our team at the outset of the restaurant's journey, playing a pivotal role in its establishment and future success.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to mentor and retain a vibrant staff while running a successful food & beverage department. You will ensure that the quality of service and food and beverages are continually monitored and delivered with grace and integrity.
This position offers a comprehensive package including: A base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 plus quarterly bonus potential up to 15%, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid vacation and paid sick time, and dining discounts at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants.
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-end, service-focused restaurant
- Experience hiring, training, mentoring, and retaining a diverse hourly staff
- Proven leadership capabilities that have focused on training and developing staff through a "coach-player" philosophy
- The ability to drive performance and success without compromising hospitality and service standards
- Prior experience managing a beverage program is a plus!
