We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable bartender trainer to join our team. The bartender trainer will be responsible for educating new hires and current staff on all aspects of bartending, including mixology, customer service, and bar operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive bartending experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others.

QUALIFICATIONS//

Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.

Previous experience in a training or mentoring role preferred.

In-depth knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and drink recipes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Certifications in responsible alcohol service. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES//

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new bartenders.

Update and enhance training materials to reflect current trends and best practices in mixology and bartending.

Conduct practical training sessions to teach bartending techniques, drink preparation, and proper use of equipment.

Provide guidance on customer service standards and interpersonal skills behind the bar.

Educate staff on the selection, storage, and preparation of a wide range of beverages and ingredients.

Ensure bartenders understand the menu offerings, including specialty cocktails.

Monitor bartenders’ performance and provide constructive feedback to improve skills and service quality.

Uphold cleanliness and organization standards for the bar area and equipment.

Train bartenders on responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws and regulations.

Promote a safe working environment by teaching proper handling.

Collaborate with other departments, such as food service and management, to enhance overall guest experience.
