Market is looking for a General Manager.
We are a busy modern Italian restaurant located in the heart of Venice. The food is a fresh twist on Italian cuisine, designed to be shared family-style.
Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the restaurant; including the final walk-through before opening and locking/arming the building at night.
- Overseeing the education of the staff; food & beverage knowledge, steps of service, table-side presence & POS speed.
- Hiring; scheduling and conducting interviews.
- Managing the floor; ensuring we have ample coverage throughout service and making cuts as necessary.
- Managing all employees; training, coaching, staff reviews, supporting, and disciplining.
- Inventory; assisting in the execution of monthly inventory.
- Labor; ensuring labor is kept within agreed-upon parameters.
- COGS; ensuring beverage COGS are kept within agreed-upon metrics.
The Candidate:
- Highly organized.
- Good communicator.
- Positive energy; pleasant & personable around staff and guests.
Compensation Package:
- Medical stipend.
- 10 days PTO / year.
- Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $100,000.00)
