Job Details

Il Totano, in the West Village is looking for a Maitre D! We are looking for fun, kind, and respectful individuals who love working in hospitality. Be a team player! Opening experience a plus, but not required. We are looking for candidates with a genuine appreciation for the hospitality business, and a professional work ethic.

Who you Are:

A poised, stylish, and welcoming demeanor are essential.
Able to handle sticky situations at the door while doing it with a smile while delivering genuine service.
Upscale or Fine dining experience is preferred with great communication skills is required.
Experience using Resy & OpenTable and has previously worked as a maitre'd in an upscale restaurant with significant walk in and waitlist covers.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable running the door, training new hosts, and navigating complicated situations with grace and calm.
Knowledge of NYC Food Critics

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00) plus tips
