The Waverly Inn is a full-service restaurant focusing on Classic American cuisine, an extensive selection of wines, and the highest quality hospitality. Is looking for a new daytime manager. The position is ideal for candidates with some experience in guests facing rolls either as a reservationist, door staff or management.
Our guests are the most important thing to us and an ideal candidate for this roll should understand what it means to be outgoing, professional, and always a team player
Immediate consideration given to candidates with the following qualities:
- Minimum 1-year high volume NYC upscale dining experience in a manager, assistant manager or maître d roll. Applicants must be local to the NYC metro area.
- Strong knowledge of reservations platforms such as Resy and OpenTable is required for the position
- Candidates must be excellent communicators with both the hourly staff and management team. Microsoft Office applications used every day. Basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel required
- Candidates must be hospitality focused, able to think on their feet and operate according to all standards outlined by the restaurant.
This is a hourly position with a set schedule of 35 hours per week, including weekends as well as any regular meetings. Compensation based on experience with benefits including full healthcare, vision, dental & 401k, shift meals, transit discounts and a great work environment
