POSITION TITLE: General Manager - Mediterranean Concept
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead & manage the entire restaurant team, assist in hiring, training & scheduling staff members & delegating AOR’s to management team.
- Lead by example- touch tables, be available during service, address negative impressions and encourage guests to return.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure an upscale dining experience for guests from entrance to exit.
- Ensure staff is knowledgeable on all products, steps of service & how to effectively upsell.
- Financial Management:
- You manage the restaurant's budget, monitor expenses, and maximize profitability while upholding the restaurant's reputation for quality and luxury.
- Participate in periodic P&L meetings with corporate team.
- Menu & Cocktail Development:
- Collaborate with corporate directors to develop popular menu items, increase sales & accurately reflect the restaurant’s concept and clientele.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor the restaurant’s business & guest feedback to ensure the staff is providing the best experience possible.
- Continuously suggest improvements & implement necessary changes to ensure the Schulson Collective standard is always met.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing large FOH team efficiently.
- Experience in high volume, upscale restaurant management
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Experience with restaurant financials, labor costs, FOH inventory, ordering & budgets
- Strong strategic planning, financial management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
