Darling Jack's, the newest concept from Safran Turney Hospitality is currently interviewing for the opening General Manager position. Darling Jack's will open early fall 2022 in the busy 13th street corridor that Safran Turney help turn into the busy dining and shopping destination it is today. Darling Jack's will be an American Tavern serving craft cocktails, well curated wines and fine tavern fare and tavern style pizza. The space will have 75+ seats with an additonal 16 seats at the bar and outdoor cafe seating. The general manager will be responcible for a manager team of three employees and will be in direct daily communication with the directors and ownership.
Duties are as follows:
- Interviewing, hiring, on-boarding & organizing training for FOH staff.
- Maintaining and organizing weekly cash deposits, bank bags and all checkout procedures.
- Upkeep of price comparisons, cost sheets and communication with BOH as prices shift.
- Conducting weekly payroll for entire staff and maintaining payroll records
- Scheduling front of the house employees
- Fulfilling all record keeping and administrative requirements, including on boarding, termination records, employee counseling and monthly invoices
- Providing oversight and on-going training for management staff
- Executing private events and seasonal larger events.
Safran Turney Hospitality currently operates barbuzzo, barbuzzo events, Bud and Marilyn's and Little Nonna's. Additionally, the company has two retail stores, Open House and Verde on 13th street along with Marcie Blaine Chocolates. The candidate should expect a busy, high enery restaurant with room for advancement and growth.
This position is for immediate fullfillment. The hired individual will begin work in the company immediatly to gain experience and perspective of the company and will transition to the opening team as the opening becomes closer.
