Bistro Romano in Society Hill is a Philadelphia favorite for 37 years, renowned for innovative Italian cuisine and exceptional service in our Granary Dining Room, Bistro Bar, The 120 Room and Wine Shoppe. We are looking for a Food Runner/ Server Assistant to join Team BR and help us to create extraordinary guest experiences.
Our support staff is the backbone of our business. We are seeking team players with keen attention to detail and dedication to excellent service. You must be reliable, timely, friendly and be able to provide responsive service to create an exceptional experience for our guests. The restaurant opens at 4:45pm Wednesday thru Sunday, with the last seating at 9pm, sometimes later on VDAY, NYE and other busy days. The earliest support shift begins at 3:30pm, and the latest ends around 11pm.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding the steps of service
- Table settings & maintenance
- Menu knowledge
- Prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests

Opening/Closing side work tasks
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexible night and weekend availability
- Dedicated work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently for 6-8 hours on your feet
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must work well in a fast-paced setting
- Attention to detail is also a must
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year restaurant experience preferred
