Job Details

The Lambs Club is seeking an enthusiastic Captain with a passion for the industry. The ideal candidate is studied, precise, and possesses a desire to evolve. Must be up to date on industry trends, and has knowledge and understanding of high end New York City restaurants.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Michelin restaurants.
In depth knowledge of food, spirits, cocktails, and wines.
Must have full availability (Nights, weekends, holidays).
A strong work ethic is a must.
Team player mentality – must be able to work well with others.
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, polished appearance with the ability to exceed our guests' expectations.
Excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to multitask.
Ability to understand and speak about menu items.
Maintain composure during busy times.
Must have a complete understanding of fine dining service.
Ability to suggest menu items and upsell.
Must be able to problem solve and be open to constructive criticism.
Punctuality is a must.
Candidates with sommelier certification a bonus.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($10.65) plus tips
