Xiquet by Danny Lledó, Washington D.C.'s premier Michelin-starred restaurant specializing in refined Valencian cuisine, is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our acclaimed kitchen team. About the Position:
We are looking for a disciplined and enthusiastic Line Cook who thrives in a brigade-style kitchen and is passionate about excellence. Our ideal candidate demonstrates strong culinary skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency in every dish. As a Line Cook, you will be essential in executing our menu to the highest standard while maintaining the quality and precision that define our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy, following recipes and presentation standards
- Execute daily mise en place, ensuring readiness for service
- Maintain a clean, organized station and uphold sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the kitchen team during service
- Assist with ingredient preparation, plating, and any kitchen duties as needed
- Contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen environment, with a focus on teamwork and quality

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen, preferably as a Line Cook
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in an upscale environment
- Familiarity with European and Spanish cuisines is a plus
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)
