Now seeking a charismatic and hospitality-focused General Manager to spearhead the launch of STARR Restaurants' newest affiliated NYC restaurant. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our team at the outset of the restaurant's journey, playing a pivotal role in its establishment and future success.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to mentor and retain a vibrant staff while running a successful food & beverage department. You will ensure that the quality of service and food and beverages are continually monitored and delivered with grace and integrity.
This position offers a comprehensive package including: A competitive salary of $120,000 - $140,000 plus quarterly bonus potential, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid vacation and paid sick time, and dining discounts at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience with one's most recent position in a senior-level role
- At least 2 years of full restaurant P&L management experience; proven ability to oversee cost control, labor, management, and bottom-line profitability
- Experience hiring, training, mentoring, and retaining a diverse hourly staff
- Experience leading a team of at least 4 salaried managers
- Ability to drive performance and success without compromising hospitality and service standards
