Job Details
As our Assistant Baker you'll play a vital role in our daily baking processes, supporting our team to ensure quality and consistency in every dessert you help create. 
Qualifications
 
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, small-team environment in a commercial kitchen space
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a new and dynamic business setting
  • A keen eye for detail and dedication to maintaining high standards
  • Must be able to work in a fast pased environment 
  • Passion for creating delightful pastry experiences for our customers
  • Great communicator and collaborative personality
  • Ability to work on Weekends
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the shaping, filling, and baking of pastries, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Contribute to the preparation of custards, jams, ganaches and other fillings, following precise recipes and techniques
  • Assist in the production of French Macarons
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with fellow team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production
  • Clean equipments and work stations

Physical Requirements:
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 7,5 hours]
  • Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily
  • Take turns doing dishes/cleaning the commercial kitchen
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50 - $18.50)
