Who are we? 
 
Maxwell social is a private members home made to feel like a home. The beautifully decorated 8000 square feet space boasts 3 main rooms with two kitchens. We are focused on building out a small, curated, membership community.
 
Position Overview

The staff at Maxwell Social Club plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless event experience for our members and guests. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about the hospitality industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-end setting and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Maintenance: Ensure prompt removal of glassware and dishes from event areas. Ensure restrooms are free of debris and stocked with paper goods.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the event area, including floors, tables, and chairs. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Stocking: Ensure that bar areas are well-stocked with necessary items such as glassware, wares, and napkins. 
  • Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with members and guests in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with any special requests or needs.
  • Setup and Breakdown: Help set up the event area before opening and assist with the breakdown and cleaning after closing, including moving furniture. 
  • Compliance: Follow all club policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all members and staff.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks such as lifting and carrying trays of glasses and lifting and moving large furniture. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attitude: Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
