Primary Objective:
As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be the mastermind behind our dessert menu, ensuring every creation is a work of art. You’ll oversee the pastry team, making sure our sweet treats are nothing short of extraordinary. Your goal? To craft desserts that dazzle, delight, and drive our guests to sweet bliss, all while keeping an eye on costs and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sweet Squad: Manage staffing and ensure the pastry section is always fully stocked with the freshest ingredients.
- Set the Stage: Oversee the setup and presentation of all desserts, ensuring each dish is Instagram-worthy and ready to wow our guests.
- Crunch the Numbers: Assist in budget planning and control, balancing creativity with cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Best: Work hand-in-hand with our culinary team to keep prep times on point and maintain impeccable food quality.
- Order with Flair: Manage inventory, checking and ordering fresh produce and dry goods to keep our pantry stocked with the best ingredients.
- Champion the Team: Ensure all staff follow the Staff Handbook and cultivate a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Taste Test Extraordinaire: Sample all creations, making sure every dessert meets your high standards of taste and quality.
- Communicate Like a Pro: Keep the Executive Chef/Head Chef updated on stock levels and equipment needs. Your insights keep us ahead of the curve.
- Represent Us Well: Maintain a polished, professional appearance and show up ready to create magic, every shift.
