Calling all guest relations professionals interested in working at the intersection of restaurant hospitality and sustainable agriculture.
About The Role:
Blue Hill at Stone Barns is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Host to support guest relations. Together with our nonprofit partner, the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, we form a research and education institute working to develop a regional and ecological future of food.
The Host will report to the General Manager, and be responsible for orchestrating a smooth guest experience from first contact to departure from the farm. You will ensure guests receive personalized attention throughout their visit, and help provide insights into our farm-to-table ethos and illustrate the link between regenerative farming and better food.
At Blue Hill, we believe the best hospitality professionals are eager to learn and continuously strive to deepen their knowledge of food systems, cuisine, and hospitality. As such, you will participate in weekly educational programs. You will listen to guest speakers, attend classes and training, and be eligible for a stipend for external education opportunities.

- Languages: proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
- Experience: minimum 1 year experience in guest relations is required.
Tasks may include:
- Managing reservations, adjusting to accommodate guest preferences and special requests.
- Handling guest correspondence, responding to general visitor inquiries over the phone, email, and in person.
- Coordinating and integrating distinct elements of the guest experience, such as tours.
- Greeting guests upon arrival and providing attention and assistance throughout their visit up until departure.
- Collaborating closely with our culinary and service teams to ensure seamless guest experience at every touchpoint.
- Providing general administrative support.
- Ensuring Blue Hill’s standards of service are met and exceeded leading up to, during, and after all guest interactions.
- Performing all other job-related duties as needed and assigned.
The Details:
- Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour. Access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, and Paid Time Off.
- Location & Hours: Full time position in-person at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY (~1 hr drive from NYC). Shifts involve working evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00)
