Job Title: Lamination Baker

Location: 999 Atlantic Avenue

Position Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8 am - 4 pm (Wednesday - Sunday)

Pay: $20 - $22 per hour 


Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated lamination baker specializing in laminated pastries to join our team at Lisbonata, where we craft exquisite Pastéis de Nata – Portuguese Custard Tarts. As a small but thriving operation working in a shared kitchen space, we are looking for a team player who can bring their expertise to our close-knit group focused on production. If you are ready to showcase your talent and contribute to our delicious creations, we would love to welcome you aboard!

Qualifications

  • Previous experience (min. 1 year) as a viennoiserie baker who knows how to laminate a pastry. (must have)
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, small-team environment in a shared kitchen space.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a new and dynamic business setting.
  • A keen eye for detail and dedication to maintaining high standards.
  • Passion for creating delightful pastry experiences for our customers.
  • Great communicator and collaborative personality.
  • Ability to work Wednesday through Sunday. (8 am untill 4 pm)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities As we specialize in crafting only one product daily, the ideal candidate's responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the dough and performing lamination for finishing. 
  • Planning the weekly production schedule.
  • Assisting other team members with baking, packing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

  • Physical Requirements
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time (over 7.5 hours).
  • Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily.
