Bringing a fresh perspective on the region's rich culinary heritage, they set out to create a culinary haven in Washington D.C. that celebrates the vibrant & diverse flavors of the region. Introducing Namak, the newest neighborhood restaurant nestled in the heart of Adams Morgan.
The name "Namak" derives from the Persian word for salt, symbolizing the significance of simple and seasonal ingredients that form the backbone of the Levantine, Greek, North African, and Persian dishes served at Namak. Emphasizing the value of freshness, our menu boasts a delightful array of breads, kebabs, mezes, and specialty drinks – each crafted daily in-house, ensuring an authentic experience for our patrons.
Stepping into Namak, guests are transported to the enchanting ambiance of the Mediterranean, as every corner of the restaurant exudes the region's aesthetic charm. The interior design, a collaborative effort between Michael Mason of Nahra Design and John Cidre, captures the allure of the Mediterranean with a touch of contemporary elegance. Delightful decorations, thoughtfully sourced from local artisans across the Mediterranean and Washington DC, lend an authentic and artistic touch to the space.
