AM / PM Maitre D’ - New French Brasserie, Grand Central Station
We are seeking an experienced and exceptional Maitre D’ to launch and lead our bustling 400-seat brasserie located in Grand Central Station. Our restaurant offers French cuisine and a vibrant dining atmosphere across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a high-volume, fast-paced dining room
- Manage reservations and coordinate seating for up to 400 guests
- Lead and train a large front-of-house team
- Ensure impeccable service standards
- Handle VIP guests while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in NYC restaurants
- Fluency in English and French
- Knowledge of French cuisine, wine, and dining etiquette
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Passion for creating memorable dining experiences
