We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join a great team in a casual kitchen with intensity on quality product and food. This hands-on position will require working a station on the line and assisting the award winning Chef in overseeing kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production and a well-organized kitchen environment.
Your Past:
- Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in serious Italian kitchen.
- Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, culinary techniques, and food safety standards.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Work a station on the line to prepare and plate food according to menu specifications.
- Assist the Head Chef in ensuring quality standards are met.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, maintaining consistency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage inventory, control food costs, and uphold food quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and managing daily kitchen operations effectively.

Salary of up to $80K
