Seeking enthusiastic SERVER to grow with our team

Summary: Responsible for taking orders and serving food and drinks to guests in dining room.  A personable, accommodating demeanor, as well as an ability to multi task, are essential for success in this position. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously as determined by management, providing appropriate food and beverage suggestions.
  • Refill drinks and deliver food as soon as necessary or available via tray service.
  • Perform money transactions, return accurate change, and close checks in Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Provide great guest experience through menu presentation, recommendations and suggestive selling.
  • Check guests’ identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations.
  • Work in team environment and communicate with team members and guests.
  • Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of serving/hospitality experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for providing hospitality to guests and coworkers.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, days, and including some holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
  • BASSET Certification.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience preferred but will make accommodations for the right candidate.
  • Must be 21 years of age.

Performance Standards:

  • Meets all company service standards.
  • Demonstrates salesmanship with guests.
  • Maintains an upbeat, guest-first, positive attitude.
  • Strives to provide a professional image and demeanor.
  • Team work (running food, bussing tables, refilling drinks, etc.).
  • Completes all ongoing certifications/validations (menu, ServSafe, etc.).
  • Maintains a clean section.
