Faun is looking for a part-time bartender to join our FOH team. This position requires open weekend availability, as well as some weeknight availability. Bartenders are responsible for the operation of the bar during service. Bartenders prepare bar ingredients and open and close the bar for service under the written direction of the bar supervisor and with guidance from the manager on duty (MOD). During service, the bartender mixes and serves on and off menu beverages based on customer requests; provides dinner service to customers seated at the bar and, when business demands, in a delegated section on the floor; answers FOH team questions about the beverage program, ensures the bar remains stocked; and communicates supplies that are running low or out of stock. When volume allows, bartenders conduct regular ongoing R&D and prep under the written direction of the bar supervisor. Bartenders should have a working knowledge of wine and spirits. Bartenders receive a base rate of $10.65/hour plus a 10 point share in the tip pool.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 year of experience in an upscale dining environment.
