Assistant General Manager


Knightsbridge Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team and collaborate directly with the Executive Chef to lead and manage all facets of the Sababa / Little Black Bird operations. The Assistant GM will continue to build a better brand with the best management and staff by constantly improving our food and service while focusing on our our guests and providing unparalleled hospitality. The Assistant GM will work closely with the Executive Chef to achieve shared goals. This position requires flexibility and a wide range of hospitality, service and business acumen. The Assistant GM actively embodies, inspires and teaches skills that will elevate the core values of our company.

Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
Work with all F.O.H. managers to achieve individual performance goals and metrics that profitably grow the business while strengthening our brand and culture.
Continuously recruit strong candidates for all positions and grow through empowerment and development

Skills and Requirements:

3+ years experience in fine dining
2 years experience as a Assistant GM in business over 3-4 million in sales
Experience in all facets of a fine dining restaurant
Excellent wine knowledge is essential.

• Specific knowledge of Purchasing, Receiving, Maintenance, Inventory, , Cash handling procedures and controls
• Operations experience in Maitre d' position, Bar Management, Wine Director, Service Director, Special Events and Expeditor
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Leadership & Organizations Management Skills
• Proficient in Restaurant Financial Knowledge
• Excellent Dining Room and Facilities Operations Knowledge
• Food & Beverage knowledge with a solid understanding of wines of all regions and spirits
• Computer literacy with knowledge in managing Point of Sale Systems, Reservation Systems, Restaurant Management Software, HRIS and Recruitment Software
