Hiraya in Washington DC, a dual concept of all day cafe featuring new classic Filipino food and everyday pastries by Paolo Dungca, and a market menu driven dining room is seeking a dynamic cafe manager to join our pamilya. Candidate must be a self starter, personable, reliable, and possess strong communication skills within an all diverse work environment. Knowledge of cuisine genre is not necessary, however, ability to adapt and colloborate with other team leaders, having passion for culinary and hospitality, communicate and support team members effectively are musts.
The appointed person will work with general manager, bridge between FOH and BOH, manage inventory, and thrive on exceeding guest expectations. Working hours are flexible, as operating hours cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and off-site catering, with room to grow into management position for both concepts.
