The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of Domestic and Old World wines and a friendly, approachable way of discussing and selling them. Extensive Food knowledge and the ability to learn new information quickly is imperative. Prior experience as a Floor Sommelier in a restaurant and minimum 1 year as Server in a chef driven restaurant is required. The right candidate will possess a strong sense of Hospitality and Teamwork. WSET or CMS certification is a plus.
Responsibilities for this position include daily stocking, cellar work, participating in staff education, tastings, training, inventory, set-up and working the floor during dinner service 5 nights a week.
We work as a team. We are all here to support each other and to provide the guests with the most memorable experience possible. Ultimately, you work in tandem with all aspects of the restaurant.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.00) plus tips
