High-end sports bar, Signature, in South Loop, a dynamic collaboration between NFL legend Israel Idonije and renowned chef Stephen Gillanders opened in January '24 and we are continuing to build our team and hiring Line Cooks!!

General Description:

As a Line Cook, you will be required to effortlessly multi-task, possess great communication skills, and enjoy the learning aspects of food and beverage.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Working under the direction of the Kitchen Manager and completing assigned tasks daily
  • Following prep lists and standardized recipes
  • Learning the station you are assigned to and being receptive to learning others
  • Keep a clean work station throughout the day and a thorough cleaning and breakdown at the end of the night
  • Comply with all health department requirements of food safety and staff hygiene including but not exclusive to labeling, time, and temperature
  • Actively participates in the positive relationship between FOH and BOH teams by maintaining a steady stream of communication with all staff
  • Follows safety and emergency procedures to protect staff, guests, and property
  • Reports any maintenance deficiencies immediately to appropriate personnel
  • Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with our guests and fellow team members to create a whole house team
  • Having a flexible schedule, especially during the convention season
  • Having an understanding that your station is your responsibility. You must do what it takes to ensure its success

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00)
